Anthony Mann (June 30, 1906 – April 29, 1967) was an American actor and film director.

In the late 1930s Mann, who was a stage director, was hired by David O. Selznick, who put him to work as a talent scout and casting director. In that capacity Mann directed screen tests for several of Selznick's films, including Gone with the Wind (1939) and Rebecca (1940).
